Squad 38 (2016)

I may not know much about thieving, fraud or con artists, but I do know that Squad 38 exceeded my expectations. The drama Liar Game was also related to a con artists and it was good, but this drama presented a totally different environment and situation for the con artists to do his job, which was thrilling to watch. This was the perfect crime created by the perfect mind of the WRITER! -the con artist only followed what the writer created haha!

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)

I came to watch this drama looking forward for the interactions between the eye-candy cast and IU. I got that to an extent, but then nobody told me how to prepare for this story. This drama has its good parts, but how come every time I felt it was going straight, an obstacle appeared. I watched this drama expecting a romantic story and I got something else. *sigh* Too much drama and not enough episodes!!

The K2 Review

The K2 (2016)

Usually blockbusters are left for the summer and I tend to leave action dramas for the summer, but K2 had to be the exception. The K2 will have you on the edge of your seat, yelling at the screen, laughing with the characters, exercising your brain and your powers of deduction. This drama will have you experiment with every emotion in you -kind of like inside out! But with Ji Chang Wook -c’mon, it’s me here; I had to say that. At least this is how I felt. So, if you are looking for another difficult kdrama breakout -my last one was Descendants of the Sun- then look no further, The K2 is the one for you!

Train To Busan Movie Review

Train to Busan (2016) 

Fans of zombies and Korean movies and dramas brace yourselves, because this one will take you on a nonstop action trip, and the only luggage acceptable is a baseball bat and a bucket. In other words: MY kind of movie! Seriously, this is not your typical zombie movie -well the basics are there: zombies, but- Train to Busan will give you chills in many and unexpected ways; something Hollywood zombie films have failed to do in my opinion. At least for me, this film gave a new feel to the genre all together, and I am assuming it’s because it was not MADE IN THE USA -no pun intended.
